There’s a wind behind everyone of us.
We can’t see it , we can’t command it,
we don't even know the purpose of it,
and more often than not, we question its direction.
But I let it guide me, take me where it wants me to be.
I don't resist it or try to understand its direction.
Sometimes it takes me to places where I want to stay longer,
but it also wants me to move ahead.
And I do as it wants me to see what’s waiting at
the end of another journey, At the end of nowhere. For me, this project is an attempt to make sense of such aimless
wanderings and explorations that my subconscious
takes me through on such windy days.
It feels like all this randomness also has a purpose,
and that I’m too naive to understand and articulate it all.
These far-off places, untouched and remote, gave me a feeling of freedom,
but also a strange feeling of alienation,
as if I was experience an alternate reality of our co-existence.
Time seems to stand still here,
but the images I make speak of its quiet flow,
reminding me of my own existence, of being alive and breathing.
“ There’s a wind behind everyone of us. We can’t see it , we can’t command it, we don't even know the purpose of it, and more often than not, we question its direction.”
